QUILT BLOCK COOKBOOK BOM MEETS

The Quilt Block Cookbook BOM met Wednesday at the Attic Window Quilt Shop.  Above is the block that we will be working on this month.
Before kits were distributed, everyone had to hold up the block they made this past month.
Don't they look nice!  Someone is hiding behind her block.  She said it was her practice block and that is why the fabrics are different.  She didn't have time to make her kit block but will get to it soon.
Kathy already made a practice block for the one we will be making this month.  Since she had to do a demonstration on how to sew the curves, she went ahead and made the block.  Like her fabrics.  (Okay, I confess.  I made the block in the first picture and I appliqued my curved pieces.  Can you tell the difference?)

ATTENTION:  The Quilt Block Cookbook BOM will not meet in December.  We have moved our regular monthly meeting to Jan. 4, 2017 and then we will meet again as usual on the 4th Wednesday of the month, Jan. 25.  MARK your calendar now!
