ARE YOU READY FOR SAMPLER?

The Attic Window Quilt Shop will be closed on July 4th for the holiday and will reopen on Saturday, July 5th just in time for Sampler! I have my block finished, do you?  I imagine with all that is going on getting ready for the upcoming Holiday, you haven’t had much opportunity to think about making this block.  Some of you might not even be back in town to attend the class.  No worry.  A Sampler class is also held on July 8th and July 14th.  Feel free to attend one of those classes if you can’t make it to the First Saturday class.  Check the calendar on the sidebar for dates and times.

ON ANOTHER NOTE
  • If you are traveling this weekend, don’t forget to check out the Row by Row experience and visit quilt shops along the way.  You can check for participating shops on their website here
  • For a quick gift idea, check out Sew 4 Home and make these scrap-buster patchwork-bound washcloths.  Thanks to Eva from the Netherlands for telling me about this link.  Great idea!
Until next time,

Stay Calm! Stay Kind! Stay Positive!

Generosity has no bounds. Above are the women in the Quilts For Kids group at the Attic Window Quilt Shop. Left to right, Henrietta, Phyllis, Nancy, Carol, Karen. These women donate their time, fabric, money once a month to make quilts for kids who have cancer.
