MODERN BLOCK MONDAY - BLOCK SEVEN

Way too much has been going on this week and I am sad to say I did not get the Modern Block done for today.  However, I was playing around a while back and trying out Lynn’s tutorial at Alamosa Quilter and made this block.  I thought I would use it as my Modern Block for today.
I kind of like it.  Lynn has a great tutorial and I thought the curves went well with the straight lines in the other blocks.  Head over to Forty Two Quilts For this week’s Modern Monday Block.

While you are out surfing, take a look at all these great links I found.
Quilt Story has a tutorial for a darling Christmas table runner.
Go to Antie’s Quaint Quilts and check out the All Wrapped Up quilt that she made and then click on her link to get the pattern. Sew We Quilt’s Block Party begins today.  You won’t want to miss out on any of the fun things happening there.  Today’s tutorial is great.
Sewn Into the Fabric has a BOM.  You can get the two blocks that have already been published.  This looks like a fun BOM.  Check it out.
Stay calm! Stay kind! Stay Positive!

Love your curvy block!

Looks just great, Caroll! Wow! I think it's going to work in just swell with the rest of them. Those curves will be a nice juxtaposition to all the straight lines.

I'm loving that block with the portion of a star in it, too. I just really like how it's all working together.
