The women of Quilts for Wheels have been working hard at making quilts for people in wheelchairs. The group meets on the second Monday of each month and interested quilters are always invited to join them. They currently have made 40 quilts which they will be donating to the Veterans Administration and Mary Free Bed. All the materials and batting for these quilts have been donated and the women would like to thank everyone for their generous donations. The group is accepting material and batting donations for future quilts. If it is difficult to get away and you would like to make a quilt or two for donation, just use any pattern you desire, and make sure the quilt is at least 36” by 40”. You may bring your quilts to the shop for distribution.
